STIP features four laboratories located just downstairs from the conference venue. Each lab serves as an exhibition space showcasing Shimadzu’s advanced equipment and cutting-edge technologies. This guided tour will take participants through all four labs, highlighting the latest LabTotal system.

Green Science Lab.
This lab develops sophisticated analytical techniques to support essential aspects of daily life. Their work includes aiding development and production in the petrochemical and energy sectors, as well as detecting hazardous substances in air and environmental water.

Healthcare Science Lab.
With a focus on improving human health, this lab supports pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, disease marker discovery, and the detection of pesticide residues and allergenic substances in food products.

Optics Science Lab.
Utilizing Shimadzu’s core spectroscopy and X-ray capabilities, this lab offers innovative solutions for product development, manufacturing, and quality control across a wide range of industries.

Material Science Lab.
This lab performs comprehensive evaluations—including physical property measurement, surface and internal observation—on a variety of materials and products such as metals, plastics, pharmaceuticals, foods, and biological specimens.
